"Is it time? Is the Mystery all
finished? Is the sounding all over?
Is that really them Seven Thunders
fixing to utter out something, so
that the little group that has
gathered together will receive a
rapturing faith to go in the Rapture
when He comes?"
What is the fastest, easiest, and most economical way to share information with the world today? Newspapers? Radio? Television? Telephone? The answer is the World Wide Web (WWW), a part of the information superhighway on which we can reach an estimated 80,000,000 people for just a few dollars a month.
Less than three years ago, only a very small percentage of computer users (those with cutting-edge equipment) had even heard of the WWW. The Internet (the superhighway) existed, and was widely used, but there was no way for private users (like ourselves) to place information into the system. Then came the WWW, and it permitted us to place a stop sign on that highway, allowing people to take a detour into our neighborhood (electronically), and to browse down our street, which is filled with text and pictures to attract their attention. (Soon we hope to include video clips and sound bites as a part of our presentation!) And to what are we attracting their attention? The life and ministry of God's prophet, William Branham. But it doesn't end there. Once a traveler is in our neighborhood, they will also be able to visit other sites (called "links"), which we will point out to them along the way. Here they will find a wealth of information concerning the Message of the Hour, and even the complete messages which Brother Branham preached.
Our stop sign on the superhighway (referred to as a "home page") is presently under construction, but we expect to be up and running very quickly. Even though YOU are NOT a part of our target audience we would like for you to stop by and visit anyway. And, above all, let us know if you have any suggestions as to information you would like to see included on the Believers International home page. Just remember, we do not service other home pages, even though they may be linked to our page.
If you do not have a computer of your own, there is no need to feel left out. There are several places that usually have a computer with Internet access available, such as public libraries, schools, and even computer stores. And don't forget your neighbors and friends who may be online. So take a drive on the superhighway soon, and please stop by!
"But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished..."
The ministry of William Branham was first introduced to the world just as World War II was ending. At the same time, a new and revolutionarty means of recording sound on magnetic tape, a process which had been perfected by German engineers during the war, became available in the United States. This new technology was eagerly received, by a small group of individuals whose hearts were being quickened by a voice they were hearing that was unlike any they had ever heard before. They were inspired to make recordings, so that this voice would be preserved, to be heard over and over again. As a result, we have more than 1,100 individual recordings of the voice of the seventh angel, as he delivered a Message from Christ to His Bride.
That voice is still sounding, and we believe that it will continue to sound around the world, until every predestinated Seed has heard the Word of God.
We also believe that God's timing is always perfect. Presently, technology is developing at such a breakneck speed that the world hardly knows what it's inventing! It is estimated that the "knowledge base" of science and industry is doubling every four months. In other words, people are becoming smarter faster - an exact fulfillment of the prophesy made by Daniel more than 2,500 years ago. [Daniel 12:4]
Now is "the time of the end" that Daniel foresaw. Therefore, now is the time when there exists the greatest urgency to reach the entire world - into every social level of the world's population - with the news that God sent a prophet to this generation, to prepare the way for His Coming. The task seems staggering, given the very short time that is remaining for us to work. But just as the magnetic tape was introduced precisely when it was needed to capture the Voice of God for our generation, once again He has allowed the technological making to produce the means by which this final witness can also be accomplished: Computers
In July of 1995, two brethren from a small assembly in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada, felt the Lord leading them to explore the possibility of going "online" with the Internet - connecting their computer to the world wide information highway - as a means of sharing the Message with millions of other computer users around the world. By the end of August, Brother Mark Coffey and Brother Gerald Lush had designed "The William Branham Home Page," and they hit the road!
By combining excerpts from such sources as A Man Sent From God, Twentieth Century Prophet, and Only Believe Magazine, along with dozens of photographs and quotes from the Message, Brother Coffey and Brother Lush have created a visually inspiring, and very informative site that has already become one of the most accessed of all WWW sites!
We were excited from the first moment that Brother Lush shared with us his vision for "The William Branham Home Page." When he asked if we would like for Believers International to be listed at the site as someone to be contacted for further information, we didn't hesitate to say, "Yes."
In the weeks that followed, we have recieved e-mail from around the world - people from different walks of life, who have been attracted for a multitude of reasons! Now we are ready to go online with our own home page, which will be linked with "The William Branham Home Page" and "Eagle Computing Home Page." The boxes on these pages will give you some idea of what each of these sites is making available to visitors.
Presently, "The Believers International Home Page" is still under construction. But, shortly we will have everything you see listed in the box on this page, plus more. And, we will continue to add text, photos, and even video in the months ahead. Our target audience is two-fold: those who have never heard the name William Branham, and those who have only superficial or incorrect knowledge of his life and ministry. THerefore, one of our categories will be "Questions and Answers," which is where we hope to resolve many of the false statements that have been made and rumors that have been spread.
Whether it be a student in New Guinea or a CEO in London who visits the site, we want them to know when they leave that what they've seen and read represents nothing less than the hand of God to this generation.
As you can see, there is a great deal of work to be done in the days ahead, and we are proceeding prayerfully as we take on this added responsibility. May all we do be in His Will and in His Name, and may He receive all the glory. Amen.
A few weeks ago, we received a letter from his family, along with an article and photo that ran on the front page of the Missoula, Montana, newspaper. Matthew's recovery has been so phenomenal that he is now known as "a miracle boy," by the hospital staff. Sister Carol Vannoy's testimony, published in the article about Matthew stated simply,"We believe in miracles."
Matthew is still in physical therapy but, as the family reports, "...since the article was written, he is standing more and taking more steps with assistance."
The Vannoys wish to thank all the saints that prayed for their "miracle boy, Matthew." And they closed by saying, "To God be the Glory for the things He hath done!"
We'll say "AMEN" to that.
